A Guide to Preparing for Ibogaine Treatment
If you’re considering Ibogaine treatment, preparation is crucial. This guide will help you prepare for your experience and get the most out of your therapy.
What is Ibogaine?
Ibogaine is an herbal supplement with psychoactive properties that can cause significant physical and psychological changes.
While it is primarily used to reduce or remove cravings and withdrawal symptoms in individuals suffering from addictions, it can create a profound and potentially life-changing experience for anyone.
Preparing for Ibogaine Treatment
To get the most out of your Ibogaine therapy, it’s essential to ground and center yourself before your treatment.
Consider activities such as yoga, meditation, writing, exercise, or similar practices.
Spend time reflecting on your emotions and thoughts to increase the effectiveness of the treatment and ease your reintegration into society.
Keep in mind that Ibogaine therapy is not a miracle cure. It’s a tool that can empower you to address your psychological needs and work towards long-term healing and change.
Consider what you want to achieve through therapy and set goals to keep you on track.
Preparing Your Body
In the week leading up to your treatment, maintain a mostly vegetarian diet with properly portioned sizes of whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and small portions of lean meats or fish.
Avoid greasy, heavily processed, and fatty foods, as well as excess sodium, caffeine, junk food, sugar, grapefruit, and quinine. Drink at least 2 liters of water per day and pay attention to your electrolytes.
If you have substance dependencies, cutting back or stopping the use of substances before treatment is not necessary.
Our treatment is designed to assess and prepare a personal protocol for each client to avoid withdrawal and ensure a positive experience.
What to Bring
Pack comfortable clothing, including sweaters, a warm coat, and sneakers or hiking boots. Bring toiletries, including lightly scented lotions or moisturizers, a hairbrush, toothbrush, and toothpaste.
Avoid bringing heavily scented perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, or essential oils. You may also bring sacred items, personal mementos, or anything that makes you feel comfortable.
Proper preparation is key to getting the most out of your Ibogaine treatment. By following these guidelines and setting realistic goals, you can empower yourself to work towards long-term healing and change.
