Drug addiction is a severe condition that has become a menace to our society. Countless lives lost, and those living with the addiction are devastated by the daily demands of the powerful disease. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Methadone, Suboxone, Subutex, and other powerful, long-acting opiates that were meant to save lives are now making quitting opiates all together even more challenging. At Ibogaine by David Dardashti, we are taking steps to make addiction to long-acting opiates a thing of the past.

David Dardashti and our medical staff worked relentlessly for 4 years to develop the formula to treat Suboxone, Methadone and Subutex without the necessity of switching to short acting opiates

How?

A tiny, yet extremely powerful alkaloid called Ibogaine. This alkaloid has the power to change your life! If you are struggling with addiction to long-acting opiates such as Methadone, Suboxone or Subutex, ibogaine can help you overcome addiction, without painful withdrawal, and no need to switch to short-acting opiates first. There is no taper and no long, drawn-out process to heal when you take ibogaine. Our treatment at the Ibogaine Clinic helps people overcome addiction to long-acting opiates in days, not months.

HOW IS OUR OPIATE DETOX PROCESS DIFFERENT?

David Dardashti and his medical staff worked relentlessly for 15 years to develop a process which utilizes a small, yet potent alkaloid called Ibogaine. This alkaloid has the power to change your life! If you are struggling with addiction to long-acting opiates such as Methadone, Suboxone, or Subutex, Ibogaine can help you overcome this addiction, without painful withdrawal, and no need to switch to short-acting opioid drugs first. There is no taper and no long, drawn-out process to heal when you take Ibogaine. Our unique treatment process helps people overcome addiction to long-acting opiates in days, not months.

HOW DO LONG-ACTING OPIATES WORK?

Opioid antagonists, such as those found in Subutex and Suboxone, work by blocking the opioid receptors and preventing withdrawal symptoms. While these drugs can “help” a person regain some control over their unmanageable use of heroin or painkillers such as Oxycodone or fentanyl, they also take away the emotions, leaving him or her in a shell of a human they once were.

Ibogaine restores positive energy, blocks the MU opioid receptors just as Suboxone and Subutex, and prevents symptoms of withdrawal without taking away the emotional balance of the individual. The MU or opioid receptors are damaged when drugs such as Suboxone are used for even a short period of time. The introduction of ibogaine into the system, and the conversion or metabolization of this alkaloid into noribogaine binds to the MU creating a balance much like the balance that occurs with the use of these drugs but without the negative side effects.

HOW IBOGAINE TREATMENT WORKS

Ibogaine blocks the mu-opioid receptors just as Suboxone and Subutex, and prevent symptoms of withdrawal without taking away the emotional balance of the individual. The mu-opioid receptors become damaged when drugs such as Suboxone are used even for a short period. Upon entering the system, Ibogaine metabolizes and converts the alkaloid into noribogaine, binding itself to the mu-opioid receptors, creating a balance, much like the balance that occurs with the use of these drugs, but without the adverse side effects.

HOW LONG DOES IBOGAINE TREATMENT TAKE?

Long-acting opiates such as Suboxone and Subutex can remain in the system for several days following your last dose. For this reason, many people who attempt to quit taking these types of “maintenance” drugs have trouble stopping. The FEAR of painful physical and mental withdrawal make it feel nearly impossible to continue without another dose once the body is addicted—thus, the user resorts back to the “medication” that helps them to feel ‘okay’ again despite negative symptoms and their desire to quit.

Ibogaine prevents painful withdrawal symptoms so that you can relax and focus on healing. You don’t have to worry about bone pain, muscle aches, and extreme upset stomach or vomiting that generally come during withdrawal. And, while there may be mild discomfort, the feelings you have are NOT withdrawal— and you do NOT have to endure any suffering the way you may have in past detox or rehab programs, or if you tried to quit taking these drugs without assistance before.

Ibogaine treatment is different for each guest. David Dardashti and the treatment team developed a treatment protocol that’s right for YOU, to address your specific needs. Therefore, we cannot say precisely how long your particular treatment takes without assessment—but, treatment typically spans 8-12 days.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING IBOGAINE TREATMENT FOR LONG-ACTING OPIATES

When you come to Iboagaine by David Dardashti, you are assessed right away so that we can determine a treatment plan that’s right for you. The assessment takes 1-2 hours, depending on your unique situation. Here the team works to determine the root of your addiction or other problems and what we can do to help.

Following the assessment, you receive your first dose of Ibogaine. The measured doses during your treatment timeframe take into consideration all the details gathered during your medical and clinical assessments, as well as your medical examinations. Our team of doctors and David Dardashti work together to define your individualized treatment protocol to ensure optimal outcome results in treating your condition.

You experience a relaxed state for approximately 4-6 hours, followed by an in-depth inner perception. During this time, you communicate closely with the treatment team, we help you to remain comfortable, and you can take a beautiful look into your subconscious. Here is where you find out the WHY you use drugs or alcohol, WHAT is worrying you, and HOW trauma is impacting your day-to-day life. Don’t worry; we’re here to help you process your journey and be with you every step of the way!

When we plan for you to leave the treatment facility, you need to have an aftercare plan in place so that you have a solid recovery foundation at home to build on. Many of or guests connect with spiritual teachers, life coaches, or a therapist. Programs like S.M.A.R.T. recovery, AA /NA, or even connecting with a church after ibogaine treatment can help your growth to progress. The steps you take after your treatment journey play a significant role in the overall effectiveness of your recovery effort. With opiates out of the way, you can NOW remain focused on the end goal—a lifetime of sobriety and health.
